โœฆ A Holiday in Japan
Last summer, my family and I went on holiday to Japan. It was an amazing experience! We stayed in Tokyo, the capital city, for five days. Tokyo is a very modern city with tall skyscrapers, busy streets, and fantastic food. We also visited Kyoto, which is a more traditional city with beautiful old temples and gardens. The weather in summer in Japan is very hot and quite humid, so we drank lots of water.

The food in Japan was absolutely delicious. Every morning, we had rice, miso soup, and grilled fish for breakfast. For lunch and dinner, we tried sushi, ramen, and tempura. I especially loved the sushi โ€” it was fresh and tasty! One of my favourite experiences was visiting a Japanese market. People were selling fresh vegetables, seafood, and street food from little stalls. On our last day, we visited Mount Fuji, which is Japan's most famous mountain. We couldn't climb to the top because the weather was very cloudy, but it was still beautiful to see. I would love to go back to Japan one day!

โœฆ Sports in Our Lives
Sport is an important part of a healthy life. It helps us stay fit, feel happy, and make new friends. Different people enjoy different types of sport. Some people prefer team sports like football, basketball, or volleyball. Others like individual sports like swimming, tennis, or cycling. Both types of sport are great for your health.

Research shows that children who do sport regularly do better at school. This is because exercise helps the brain work better and improves concentration. It also reduces stress and helps people sleep well at night. Turkey is a country with a strong sporting culture. Football is the most popular sport, but basketball, volleyball, and swimming are also very popular. Many schools in Turkey have sports clubs that students join after school. In my school, there is a football team, a basketball team, and a swimming group. I am a member of the basketball team. We train every Tuesday and Thursday with our coach. Last year, we won the regional championship and it was one of the best days of my life!
